CareAvailable in 2 color varieties, red and green, with red being more common. Same care applies to both. Does not need high light, but do not shade. Nutrient rich substrate will help growth. Regularly produces cleistogamous flowers in the aquarium. Fruit should be left alone and after many weeks, it will rot away and release the seeds. Seeds will require good light, but generally produce many plants. After several flowerings the plant may retreat in growth, but will grow back.
